Main Tasks As part of our IT team, you will provide IT support to all ICF offices and homeworkers around the world. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving problems with hardware, software and audio-visual equipment. You will supply technical guidance and direction to non-technical staff, and identify and analyse process changes, often in coordination with ICF IT professionals globally. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine aptitude for Microsoft solutions and surrounding technologies. Knowledge/experience of Cisco network systems would be helpful. You should be able to make sound and defensible decisions on a variety of technical issues in ambiguous or high-pressure situations. Basic Requirements The successful candidate will have:  Basic skills: 1. 3 years of experience working within a Service Desk or Help Desk 2. First point of contact for calls to the IT Service Desk, ensuring tickets are logged with all relevant information 3. Experience handling tickets and assigning priorities 4. Knowledge of ITIL 5. Microsoft Office troubleshooting (Windows and macOS) 6. Active Directory User Management 7. Microsoft Exchange User Management 8. Dell / HP hardware troubleshooting/repair 9. Lync/Skype Unified Comms experience 10. Basic understanding of mac operating systems
Preferable skills/experience:  A high standard of written and spoken English  Apple, JAMF Certifications (recent O/S certifications preferable)  Microsoft certifications (recent O/S certifications preferable)  Extensive experience in applications used by our consulting staff including Microsoft Office and Skype for Business (both macOS and Windows variants)  Aptitude for testing and configuring new applications and processes  Microsoft System Center Service Manager or Configuration Manager  Basic knowledge of networking configuration and terminology  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field is preferable Personal Qualities  Excellent time management skills and the ability to balance multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
 Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to elicit valuable information on technical problems from non-technical users to resolve their problems.
 Strong attention to detail.
 The ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
 Enthusiasm, a passion for team working and a ‘can do’ attitude.
 Keen to learn new technologies and techniques.
 Self-motivated with a high level of commitment and initiative.
 Flexible approach to the type/content of workload and hours of work.
